Man charged with rape after Pudsey incident

A 24-year-old man has been remanded in custody after appearing in court today charged with multiple sexual offences.

Patrick Rybar, of no fixed address, faces two counts of rape, sexual assault by penetration and two counts of sexual assault.

The charges follow a serious sexual assault on a woman at Pudsey Bus Station on the evening of 20 October. He is due back at Leeds Crown Court on 26 November.

Leeds CID enquiries continue and the victim is being supported by specialist officers.
