Road closed heading into Doncaster

High Road in Balby is currently shut following a collision this morning.

Emergency services are on the scene between the A1 Junction 36 roundabout and the city centre. Drivers are being told to find another way around for now.

Local reports said that his mum and child was hit by a vehicle earlier this morning. Full update to follow.

Is this closure causing a lot of backup on the surrounding streets near you?
