Cyclist seriously injured in Huddersfield collision.

A 54-year-old man is in hospital with a serious head injury after a collision on Ashbrow Road yesterday.

It happened at about 5.13pm on Monday, close to the junction with Bradford Road. A Carrera bicycle and a white Vauxhall Insignia were involved.

The rider was taken to hospital. He remains there today, and his condition is said to be serious.
