Car ends up on its roof in early M62 crash — nine people involved

Eastbound lanes near Huddersfield were shut just before 5am after several vehicles collided between J22 and J23.

West Yorkshire Fire and Rescue said everyone was already out of the vehicles when crews arrived. Nine people were involved, and five needed treatment from Yorkshire Ambulance Service. 

National Highways says all lanes between J22 and J24 have reopened, with vehicles recovered and debris cleared. Residual delays of 40 minutes were reported between J21 and J22, and traffic was expected to ease.
